Beautiful Dreamer

There are some visions placed in me that seem so out of the ordinary that it feels like I must be dreaming.  I'm sure my presence in church after a month-long absence was no coincidence especially when I learned that today's message in church was about a topic that has been on my mind for weeks - blessings so magnificent and immeasurable that my carnal mind can hardly hold on to them.

If you've ever gotten a glimpse of the future God has for you, you understand how it can be both awesome and frightening.  To accept that we are here to live beyond our daily existence is to accept that our purpose requires diligence.  In addition to hard work, having purpose means that we must be willing to face unusual obstacles to reach extraordinary levels.

The beautiful thing about all the hard work and trials we will face on our journey is that each prepares us to accept the glory of victory, to appreciate the essence of success as it blossoms before us. 

Commit to reaching beyond your today and into the destiny only you possess.  You are special, talented and capable.  Be encouraged to invest sweat equity into your blessings and let grace alight your path...

When I picked up my younger daughter from school today she ranted non-stop about the delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe she got from home economics class. Let It Out

One day I was in the office MAD (i.e., beyond angry).  My face was a wrinkled cranberry, my attitude a sour apple and my outlook a mixed bag of melancholy.  I had a lot on my mind as usual but one particular situation got under my skin and I couldn't seem to shake it loose. A friend sent me a note asking me if I had played a new level of Mafia Wars, an on-line video game. I wasn't in much of a mood for gaming but, after a few minutes of looting, doing jobs and leveling up, my spirits were high, my smile bright and attitude hopeful. I can hide in the crevices of your mind.  Like a parasite, I feast on your confidence. Without cause I linger, drowning desires.  My power strangles hope, tramples dreams.
