Choosing to Be

Someone help me, I feel paralyzed.  What do I do?  How do I decide?
If I make a wrong choice, can I go and make it right?
If I make the right choice... but how do I know its right?
I want it so bad but which way do I turn? Left, right, north or south... uncertainty lurks just around the bend.

Today's Inspiration
All of Life Involves Risk.  Be Courageous. Be Wise. Decide

In investing there is a risk/reward ratio that describes the comparison of expected returns of an investment to the amount of risk undertaken to gain these returns.  In other words, do we stand to gain more than we stand to lose? Professionals use this and other concepts to help companies make sound business decisions - and sometimes, even they don't get it right.

We don't have a savvy team of analysts but we DO have to make choices that involve real risks and rewards. Go in to work or call off?  Fries or salad?  Go out, stay home?  If every decision were that elementary, we'd be in good shape but we know life is much more complex.  There is no way around the responsibility of making decisions - even choosing not to decide is a decision.

Analysis paralysis can set in at the worst of times.  We might sometimes feel uncertain no matter how we look at the scenario.  Though advice from others can be helpful, we should be wary of involving too many in the decision making process.  Take ownership of your choices and feel good about them even if you are yet unsure.  What you lack in confidence, you can make up in faith and diligence.

Be encouraged, seek wisdom and maintain your faith...
